In addition, it is quite obvious that behind many advantages, this innovation hides behind itself disadvantages that can negatively affect human health and life. Although it seems that Russian industry departments are not opposed to the introduction of such technologies in our country, and mobile operators are already practically competing for the future leadership in owning the rights to use 5G.
Back in 2018, Rostelecom, together with Finnish Nokia, launched the first public network of the fifth generation on the territory of Skolkovo. It is clear that the circle of interested participants in these projects is motivated exclusively by marketing characteristics. Yes, this is a new modern network. Yes, it will make the job of those looking for fast internet easier. But such a network needs to create a powerful infrastructure with towers and multifunctional devices that are already working in test mode, instilling fear in the residents of the area nearby.
Difficult to the point of stupidity

It turned out that the coverage of such commercial 5G networks is extremely small. 5G in the US has not yet received much demand among users, and the market in other countries is not particularly interested in such technologies. It is likely that as the choice and availability of mobile and portable 5G devices expand, as well as cases of successful implementation, the business community will show its interest in these solutions.
Today, such networks are banned in a number of American cities. Active discussions are underway in Switzerland. Concerns are also expressed at the international level – a number of UN officials submitted a report on the potential harm of 5G technology to the organization’s secretary general for consideration. And Belgium, in which the main bodies of the European Union are concentrated, has banned the use of this network.
