Dell EMC Expands Portfolio of Turnkey AI Solutions

Dell EMC has expanded its AI turnkey portfolio with a new Deep Learning with Intel turnkey solution to help organizations meet the needs of analysts and IT professionals through deep learning.

Dell EMC’s out-of-the-box AI solutions help customers achieve analytic results faster. They are preconfigured, tested, and optimized for machine learning and deep learning. According to analysts at the Enterprise Strategy Group, the Deep Learning with Intel architecture can reduce TCO by 24%. This is the first industry solution with Nauti software. It Once deployed, users receive an easy-to-configure solution for simplifying the implementation of AI-enabled applications. It allows you to focus not on the IT infrastructure, but on creating value-generating models.

Deep Learning with Intel also leverages the latest AI technologies from the second generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors and Nauti Enterprise software. This scalable approach allows customers to grow their deep learning environments as needed. The solution is available to customers today. It includes a customized open source Tensor Flow distributed deep learning framework and data modeling libraries.

New Reference Architectures Ease Implementation of HPC Systems for Digital Manufacturing

Dell EMC is expanding its portfolio of turnkey HPC solutions for digital manufacturing with new architectures for Altair HyperWorks, ANSYS Fluent, ANSYS Mechanical, Dassault Systems SIMULIA, LSTC LS-DYNA and Siemens Isocenter STAR-CCM + software. They enable manufacturing, design and development organizations to perform complex system modeling, including structural analysis and computational fluid dynamics.

New turnkey solutions for HPC in digital manufacturing are built on Dell EMC PowerEdge servers, Powerwinch switches and Power Vault storage systems. The new turnkey solutions also use the second generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors now available in several PowerEdge server models, including the 4-socket PowerEdge R840.

Dell Technologies HPC Projects Support AI Innovation and Initiatives

Dell Technologies continues to partner with customers around the world on HPC and AI deployment projects to drive industry and research.

Nordson Design offers advanced solutions for the high-speed shipping sector and develops faster, safer and more efficient ships in partnership with Supercomputing Wales3, the Dell EMC Atos HPC Joint High Performance Computing Competence Center, and the Swansea University research team. Using HPC modeling and computational fluid dynamics, Nordson Design has been able to further explore the complex interactions of a ship, water and air. Based on the data obtained, they more efficiently design the aerodynamic and hydrodynamic structures of high-speed vessels, using AI technologies.

Dell Technologies Expands Industry Collaboration in AI and HPC

Dell Technologies is also announcing new alliances with applied and MOSAI Crown.

The German company applied is one of the largest European non-commercial projects for the use of artificial intelligence. As part of UnternehmerTUM, a major non-profit center for innovation and entrepreneurship, it brings together over 25 technology companies, manufacturing, ecosystem, international and academic partners to accelerate the use of AI.

The MOSAICrOWN4 project seeks to create new privacy policies that protect data markets for information sharing and analytics sharing in multi-user scenarios.  The Dell Technologies development team is based in Cork, Ireland and is spearheading an initiative to create secure data markets for the smart connected vehicle industry.

As part of the Dell EMC HPC and AI Innovation Lab, applied and MOSAI Crown will gain access to the computing cycles of Dell Technologies’ Zenith supercomputer, which is one of the TOP500 HPC systems.
