Dell, with over thirty years of experience in innovation, has unveiled many new and improved products and software features for the Latitude, XPS and Inspiron lines at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.

Latitude 7400 2-in-1 laptop changes the way you interact with your PC

People want more from modern technology, they need mobility and connectivity without sacrificing performance, and their PCs need to be attractive and responsive. This world’s first 2-in-1 PC with a presence sensor with Intel® Context Sensing Technology1 features Expressing-in. It detects the user’s presence, wakes up the system, and immediately initiates facial recognition to sign in with Windows Hello. And when the user is away, the computer recognizes their absence and locks up to prolong battery life and ensure safety.

The Latitude 7400 2-in-1 has received the CES 2019 Honorary Innovation Award (in English) and is Dell’s smallest 14-inch 2-in-1 laptop for business. The swivel hinges make it easy to open and the case has a new Titan Gray machined aluminum finish. It is also the first Latitude laptop to be packaged from ocean plastic waste.

Despite its small size, Dell engineers did not sacrifice performance, battery life, connectivity, ports or familiar features. It is rated for 24 hours of battery life2 on a single charge, and Dell Express Charge technology can charge your battery up to 80% in just an hour3.

New XPS 13 laptop features a webcam at the top of the screen and comes in a new color

Dell has enhanced the thin and light 13 “XPS 13 laptop with an innovative webcam at the top of the screen for improved video quality. The laptop now comes in the new Frost color. Winner of the CES 2019 Honorary Award (in English), while the Dell XPS 13 laptop has won the largest number of industry awards. The XPS 13 is in demand by both professionals and consumers. Dell’s smallest 2.25mm HD webcam retains the Infinity Edge display and has been relocated to the top of the screen for better video quality.

Dolby Vision technology enhances your entertainment experience with lifelike picture quality with incredible brightness, contrast and natural colors. Compared to standard images, Dolby Vision produces previously invisible colors, 40 times brighter highlights and 10 times darker black areas. The result is a flawless, lifelike image that will make you forget you’re looking at the screen.

The XPS 13 is powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel® Core ™ quad-core processors, making it the fastest 13-inch laptop in its class4. In addition to the previously introduced case colors Rose Gold 5, White, Black and Silver, the XPS 13 is now available in the new Frost color. In a new color scheme, the laptop is finished with anodized aluminum on the outside and a pure white fiberglass surface on the inside.

Dell’s 2-in-1 Sound Optimization technologies automatically adjust EQ for best results, no matter where you sit. Waves MaxxAudio NX technology tracks the user’s head movements using the device’s webcam to improve the sound quality of the headphones 360 degrees, orienting the sound according to the user’s position.

Cinema Stream 2.0 expands your video streaming experience by reducing buffering requirements by up to 10x and improving video quality by up to 6×6. The system automatically detects and prioritizes the most important network traffic to ensure maximum bandwidth for streaming and video chats for a smooth, seamless experience.
