Scientific research and development of technical means for the rational development of the resources of the World Ocean
Research and development of the resources of the World Ocean is a priority area of modern technical development in many countries of the world. The need to perform surveillance and search, research, transport, but especially technological and rescue underwater operations, carried out in a variety of conditions and requiring the creation and use of underwater robots, is constantly growing. With their help, various underwater tasks are already being solved, which include: prospecting for minerals; survey and mapping of the bottom relief; automatic monitoring of the state of the aquatic environment near oil production platforms and subsea oil and gas pipelines; control of the technical condition and safety of underwater pipelines and cable lines; inspection of quay walls and bottom structures of port waters; search and survey of sunken objects; search and rescue operations; hydrographic measurements and environmental studies; assessing biological resources and studying biodiversity; solving problems of water area protection, etc. However, the efficiency and cost of these solutions differ significantly depending on the type of task.
Resource Center for Invasive Neurotechnology and Clinical Biomechanics
In order to implement the National Technological Initiative and to develop the priority direction of the Life Science development, the Far Eastern Federal University is initiating the creation of the Resource Center for Invasive Neurotechnology’s and Clinical Biomechanics, whose activities will be aimed at implementing a full cycle of support for high-tech projects in the areas of the Helene markets and Neuronal. The Resource R&D Center is created as an SPV (design) company, working in cooperation with the university infrastructure with its own research and clinical base.
